Animation layers

Move the panels and explore the different layers of the animated film.

In editing, all the footage and digitally created layers are combined into one single image. For the flying scene, Bogdan (2) and the cormorants (3) were filmed separately. The holders (4) and green screen (6) were then digitally removed from both shots, and a different background (5) was added. Finally, the colours were adjusted (1).

The layers:

1. The colour layer adjusts the colour palette of the final image.
2. Footage of Bogdan from the shoot.
3. Footage of the cormorants from the shoot.
4. The holders were deleted from the shots.
5. The background of the sky with clouds was created digitally.
6. The green screen from the shoot is not visible in the film.

If you move all the panels except the fourth one to the left, you will see the image of the finished film.
