Director of photography

The director of photography works with the film director to determine the visual style of the shots. They decide whether to shoot from above, from the side, up close, or from a distance; choose the intensity of the light and tell which colours will prevail: by the fire, they will use warm yellow lights, as opposed to a night scene, where they will choose cold blue lights. This way, they contribute to the atmosphere of the animation as it is being made.
