From 7 to 23 August, we will be with you again at the Slovenian Cinematheque’s Open Air Cinema on the Metelkova Museum platform, where, in cooperation with numerous partners, we have prepared a diverse and exciting selection of films: from cinema classics to the 8th Summer on Screen and Between the Covers festival, and we will close the August evenings with the 11th edition of the FeKK International Short Film Festival.
From 8 to 29 August, screenings will also take place every Friday at the Open Air Cinema of the Museum of Slovenian Film Actors in Divača, where we continue with the comedy film series. In apocalyptic times, we will continue to explore the shades of laughter – from political to romantic, social and family comedy.
The Silvan Furlan Hall at 28 Miklošičeva cesta will reopen in September, when we will also share with you the programme for the new 2025/2026 season. Until then, we invite you to experience the cinema outdoors – in the long, warm summer evenings, with good company and a carefully selected film programme.
All screenings and events at the Open Air Cinema are free of charge and you can check the programme to see which films are screened in English or with English subtitles (all the films are screened in the original language). In case of rain, the screening will be cancelled (with the exception of the screenings of the 11th FeKK Festival, which will be held in the Silvana Furlan Hall, Miklošičeva 28). We recommend bringing chairs, cushions, blankets or other accessories to make the programme as comfortable as possible!
