By publishing quality Slovenian and foreign works in the field of cinema, we endeavour to bring film theory, history and practice as close as possible to the broader public. Books published by the Slovenian Cinematheque and its predecessors – the Slovenian Theatre and Film Museum and the Cinematheque Hall – encompass around 200 different titles and are available on the shelves of a large part of the libraries and major bookstores across Slovenia. In addition to the books, we also regularly publish Cinematheque catalogues and programme notes for our retrospectives.
