The Slovenian Cinematheque is a national film museum that has remained committed to broadening film horizons throughout its 30-year history. Since its foundation in 1996, it has been best known for its cinema hall at 28 Miklošičeva Street, a unique place for exploring the treasures of Slovenian and world cinema on the big screen. Over the last three decades, however, the Slovenian Cinematheque has expanded its activities far beyond the cinema hall to include permanent and temporary exhibitions, educational programmes for adults and children, the publication of books and the Ekran magazine, the preservation and restoration of film heritage, a library and film distribution. The exhibited posters reflect the traces left by the Slovenian Cinematheque on the Slovenian film landscape. We invite you to wander among them and join us in creating new ones.
