An exhibition dedicated to Jacques Drouin (1943–2021).

This exhibition explores the unique animation technique invented in 1931 by Alexandre Alexeïeff and Claire Parker to bring shadows and engravings to life. Through historical materials, documents, and contemporary works, Shadow Tamers traces the journey of the pinscreen — from its invention in Paris to its creative legacy at the National Film Board of Canada and its revival in France and around the world today.
